Radiofrequency identification technology uses non-contact electromagnetic wave communication between a transponder and a reader. RFID is used in electronic tolling, automatic vehicle identification, vehicle access control, asset management, cashless payments and supply chain systems.

AVI Equipment
High-performance Automatic Vehicle Identification readers and integrated antennas operating at Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) 902-928 MHz. The vehicles can be identified at a distance and in full motion. The readers fully support ISO18000-6C, ISO18000-6B, iPx (Supertag), ISO10374, Title21, and EASAlarm protocols. Additional protocols may be supported through firmware updates. Communications to Axiom AVI are performed using 10/100 Ethernet and/or serial RS-232 ports.

Parking & Fixed Readers
High-performance readers for parking access control and supply chain logistics and desktop readers and tag programmers operating at Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) 902-928 MHz. The readers support EPC Gen2 and ISO18000-6C protocols.
